Inside Sales Representative
Location: Rancho Bernardo
Compensation: $20/hr + commission (uncapped)
Hours: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our high-performing sales team in a fast-paced call center environment. In this role, you will engage with existing leads who are considering subscribing to their services and proactively present solutions that retain and grow the account.
This is a consultative sales role that blends customer advocacy with revenue generation. The ideal candidate is persuasive, resilient, goal-driven, and comfortable earning commission based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers expressing interest in the product
- Identify customer needs, pain points, and buying signals to position tailored retention and upgrade solutions
- Present and close retention offers, upsells, and service enhancements to prevent churn and drive revenue
- Use consultative sales techniques to overcome objections and negotiate win-win outcomes
- Meet or exceed individual sales and retention goals, including revenue, save rate, and conversion metrics
- Accurately document customer interactions, sales activity, and outcomes in CRM systems
- De-escalate objections and concerns while maintaining control of the sales conversation
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to improve sales strategies and messaging
Required Qualifications
- Customer service or inside sales experience (call center or account management preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to close sales, handle objections, and influence customer decisions
- Strong communication, persuasion, and active listening skills
- Ability to manage multiple systems and workflows during live calls
- Comfortable working in a quota-driven, commission-based environment
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
